At 2018 E. Broad Street in Richmond’s Church Hill neighborhood, we partnered with Midas of Richmond to transform a 1950s auto repair shop into a modern, high-quality service center spanning 7,300 square feet. This adaptive reuse project preserved the site’s historic character — retaining original windows and restoring aging roof elements — while upgrading the space to meet present-day performance standards. Site constraints included limited staging area and utility tie-ins 25 feet below Broad Street, all navigated with minimal disruption to the surrounding community.Advantage to Midas of Richmond:
Our team coordinated closely with Baskervill and Timmons Group to integrate new mechanical systems, electrical upgrades, and custom pneumatic air lines across seven service bays—all without compromising the building’s integrity.
