Virginia Economic Development Partnership HQ Renovation

Office Renovation | Richmond, VA

Project Details:

The Virginia Economic Development Partnership (VEDP) selected us to establish then expand their headquarters in the James Center in downtown Richmond. Across three separate projects, we delivered over 110,000 SF of high build quality interior improvements, including break rooms, open offices, training labs, and showcase areas. In the initial and subsequent phase we provided a new thru slab stair connecting the floors for conectivity between the VEDP team. Each phase came with its own constraints—tight timelines, occupied floors, and technical integrations—all executed without disruption to VEDP’s day-to-day operations.

Advantage to VEDP:

We partnered closely with the VEDP team to sequence construction over multiple years, including completing an 83,000-SF interior fit-out in just 120 days to meet a lease deadline. Our local expertise allowed us to safely manage major work in a live office environment while constructing a new stairwell to unify noncontiguous floors. The result was not only a modernized workplace but also a platform for VEDP to welcome future-facing companies and workforce partners. We’re proud to be a trusted extension of their team—and part of Richmond’s ongoing economic growth.
