Emerald joined forces with the design team and Owner early in the construction process for this negotiated project in order to maintain the fast paced construction schedule and deliver over 80,000 SF of the Bank of America building. This project included the demolition and build back of four floors of the building including the elevator lobbies. The once compartmentalized floors have been adapted to a much more open and collaborative experience.
Advantages to DEQ: Emerald’s early participation in the design process allowed DEQ to take advantage of Emerald’s value engineering and constructability expertise. The initial meetings and team mentality allowed for an expedited construction schedule and phased turnover to move the owner in as each of the floors was completed.
