At the VCU Adult Outpatient Pavilion in downtown Richmond, we constructed The Healing Space—a 650-SF immersive health room designed for the Massey Cancer Center. This uniquely detailed environment required high build quality within a tightly constrained footprint. Built to offer a sanctuary for patients, staff, and caregivers, the room integrates advanced audiovisual technology, soft lighting, and tactile finishes to promote calm and reflection.Advantage to VCU Health System:
Our team collaborated closely with designers and technology partners to deliver precision finishes and resolve complex spatial and systems coordination challenges. We sequenced work to accommodate sensitive installations like a curved LED video wall, concealed speakers, and integrated controls—meeting the project’s exacting specifications without compromise.
