We partnered with Moseley Architects to deliver two new elevator towers for Westminster Canterbury, a senior living community in Richmond. The project involved integrating (2) four-stop elevators into existing, fully occupied residential buildings—requiring careful coordination around active parking lots and pedestrian areas. Our team managed complex site logistics to maintain resident safety and minimize disruption while achieving high build quality within tight physical constraints.Advantage to Westminster Canterbury:
Through a Design/Assist approach, we worked closely with Westminster’s staff to tailor every detail—from the elevator shafts to the new lobbies—to the needs of their community. We tied each tower into the existing infrastructure and hardscaping with precision, creating safer, more accessible circulation paths for residents.
