COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
Feedmore Food Drives
Emerald has hosted 2 Annual Food Drives. The First year was internal to the team creating a competition among the staff to see who could accumulate the most food for a delivery to feedmore. Year two we included the client and trade partners of various projects that were going on during the drive and delivered over 1100 pounds of food to Feedmore. This year we are back with the annual drive and plan to include the project teams again.
Fisher House Foundation
Emerald has been a partner for the Foundation constructing 4 homes, 2 in the Richmond Market at the Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Hospital, 1 in Washington DC and the 4th in Huntington, West Virginia. Emerald’s commitment to the Richmond Fisher House Foundation includes participating in the local Blue Grass Jam Festival where proceeds are directed to the Richmond homes as well as delivering lunches to the house several times a year to thank our veterans and their families.
Henrico CASA
Emerald participated in the 2024 Home for Good program by constructing a playhouse that was auctioned off. The proceeds were all directed back to the Henrico CASA organization in their support of children in Henrico.
